ABOUT CROSSROAD MAPLE
BJ bought the Sugar Woods and Sugar House in 2015 and started what he came to call, his dream job! In 2016 BJ taught Maria how to boil and she started boiling part-time. In 2018 Maria quit her full time desk job, became the head boiler and started working in the woods with BJ full time. With help from part-time employees, friends and family, Crossroad Maple has continued to run a profitable maple sugaring operation that utilizes over 18,000 trees to produce quality organic maple syrup products. Currently 98% of the syrup made is sold to a bulk buyer. The goal of the business is to try and change that percentage by providing a more viable retail option to sell syrup products.
